I was very happy, and will always be so, for what the Ghetto Biennale did in Haiti. I was very happy because it brought lots of other artists who came from all sorts of different countries around the world. They came to Haiti to work and participate with us. What I liked the best was that they shared so many experiences with us and we shared so many experiences with them. For example Ebony Patterson did a beautiful installation, we had Carole Lung Francis who worked alongside Jonas Labaze and they made some beautiful clothing. The Ghetto Biennale was one of the most fantastic moments in my life and it's that which makes me want another Biennale held in Haiti again and I would want it to be even more successful. I would want there to be even more artists visiting than before, more people coming to buy our work, encourage us and expose our work to the world.
